How does buying a gun online work in Arkansas?
You pay for the firearm here and name a federally licensed (FFL) dealer in Arkansas at checkout. We ship the gun to that dealer. You collect it there after filling out ATF Form 4473 and passing the background check.
Who runs the background check?
Your dealer, by contacting the FBI’s NICS system directly. Arkansas has no state agency in the middle. Most checks come back within minutes.
Is there a waiting period or a permit to purchase?
No to both. Arkansas has no waiting period, no purchase permit and no registration. If NICS returns a proceed, you can take the firearm home on the same visit. If the check is delayed, the dealer holds the gun until it is resolved.
What do I need to bring to the dealer?
A valid government photo ID with your current residence address, the dealer’s transfer fee, and your order number. If your ID shows an old address, bring a government-issued document with the current one.
What does the dealer charge for a transfer?
Each dealer sets their own fee, commonly $20 to $50 in Arkansas. Call before you order to confirm that they accept shipped transfers and what they charge.
Do I need a concealed handgun licence to buy a pistol?
No. A licence is not needed to buy, and since Act 746 of 2013 and Act 777 of 2023 it is not needed to carry either. The Arkansas State Police still issue one for people who want reciprocity or the enhanced privileges. See our concealed carry guide.
Can you ship a gun to my house?
No. Federal law requires firearms to go to a licensed dealer. Ammunition, magazines, optics and accessories ship to your home address.
How old do I have to be?
21 or older for handguns and handgun ammunition, 18 or older for rifles, shotguns and their ammunition. These are the federal rules for licensed sellers.
Are there magazine or rifle restrictions in Arkansas?
No. Arkansas has no magazine-capacity limit and no ban on semi-automatic rifles, so standard magazines and AR-pattern rifles ship normally. If you hunt waterfowl, remember the federal three-shell limit and put the plug in your shotgun.
How much is shipping?

How long does delivery take?
Most orders leave within 1 to 3 business days of payment and, for firearms, once we have your dealer’s licence on file. Ammunition travels by ground only, so it may arrive after the rest of your order.
Why do some items take longer?
Some items ship from partner distributors and not from our main warehouse. Those usually ship within 1 to 3 weeks, and we email you if yours will take longer. If we cannot ship an item within 30 days you get a full refund, unless you choose to wait.
What payment do you accept?
Credit and debit cards, through our secure card checkout.
Are prices and stock accurate?
Yes. Price and availability are checked again when you place the order, and if anything has changed you see it before you pay.
Do you sell used guns?
Yes. Used firearms show their condition grade on the listing.
Do you sell suppressors or short-barreled rifles?
No. NFA items need ATF approval paperwork that we do not handle, so they are not listed.
Can I return a gun?
Before it has been transferred to you, yes. Contact us and tell your dealer not to complete the transfer. After transfer, firearms cannot be returned for a refund, but the manufacturer’s warranty applies. The returns policy has the details.
Do you have a store I can visit?
No. We are an online store only. You pick up firearms from the licensed dealer you choose, anywhere in Arkansas.
